Models Own - Purple Passion

Still haven't been able to work out the order to models own, but fortunately this store called Seppälä sells those gorgeous polishes. Though I won't buy anymore from there because I want to buy from their own site! It will become cheaper :)

But apparently, when they have that "get 5 polishes, save £7", you won't get that if you use the 30% off coupon! I'm pissed.

But onto the mani. Here is at first only the Purple Passion

It is a bit too bright in the picture, and with a top coat. Without a topcoat, it dried kinda matte, though it was beautiful too. I took some photos before applying the topcoat, but it was night and our lightning is very bad then to took polish pictures!!

But how was the application? Perfect! No more than 2 coats, maybe 1 with steady hand :) Soooo pretty! I'm totally pissed about the fact that I'm not capable for some reason to order anything from Models Own website. But! I will be patient, and try again and again, until it works!! This polish sealed the deal.

Have to say that I've mentioned couple of times about the nail art polishes black and white which I ordered from different place than the other colours. Well that didn't work out! BUT, I was absolutely happy when I found this from a supermarket

Jeij!! The brand is apparently Kiss and they work just fine! And look what came with the package

Evil Angel from Black nail polish and lip gloss showed similar to these nail art decal stencils.

Check it out.

You just stick the decal onto your nail, and apply the polish you want the pattern to show with. Very easy, although my stickers are a bit thin, so they might rip easily. Have to be careful!

Ofcourse I immediately had to try these, and just without any planning, it turned to be like this

(oh my god how hidious my cuticles are...)

First I only did my thumb to see te results, and I liked it. Later the same night, after a glass of redwine, I did the rest of the hand

I didn't have my polishremover with me, so when the decal was too stained to do more those, I changed to another one and did with that the pinky and the index. Cross tips with the new silver nail art polish, and ring and middle needed some lines with the new black nail art polish!
Love the design :)

I believe those polishes and decals will be in lots of use! I'm already thinking what to wear the next weekend!!

Some old and dark

Hey! Now that there is few posts between these, I can post another half-and-half mani :D

I think it was a sunny day when I made this.. I started with this gorgeous dark grey holo from Golden Rose. Color 119. Very beautiful and easy to apply!

And to spice it up, here is what I came up with

Depend black polish which includes pink and green shimmer! The polish number has disappeared from the bottle!! Apparently that happens all of them :/

And here you can see how gorgeous the holo-effect actually is

Loved the design, but when there was no sun occasionally, it was a bit too dark. But again, maybe later when the sun is more likely shining!

And now I need some help!!

I tried to order some nailpolishes from models own, and use my 30% off coupon. But when I have all of the polishes in font of me, and start to click on them and add to my cart, at some point it just throws me to their front page, and my cart is empty. And that happened many times, after I've chosen like 8 polishes. Totally frustrating!!

Have any of you had the same problem? How could I fix this? And is the models own page slow to you too? Because for me it is. I would appreciate any help here, because those colors are so gorgeous!

If you can help me, thank you so much!!

Tequila Sunrise

Well hello dears! How is it going? Just a quick post of one of the last weeks mani, which took its inspiration... Tattadadaaa! Title says it already :)

So I was very eager to try China Glaze Solar Power polish, which came from Evil Angel's shop couple of weeks ago. Very pretty shimmery sunshine yellow that would definately look amazing in the sun. I didn't have the opportunity with the sun when I was wearing this but definately will try again in summer! It will shine like a sun!!

I love it!

And just to mention, my nails are starting to be quite a nice lenght. For me! Others might like longer, others shorter, but I think this is good for me. I'm just a bit afraid.. My summerjob is in a cemetery and I do gardening stuff that is needed there!! Oh my dear nails :/

But the sunrise!

It could have been better (a lot!) but I can't remember why I didn't do it right. Well, I'll try it again in summer and make the color changing more smooth. Not so töks. And never mind the stain, the sponge kinda slipped. IMO those colors are very nice together, because of the shimmer overload! The red is Lumene Primrose Path.

And by the way, there in the middle finger you can see the shimmer of the Solar Power!! Gorgeous!

Back from the road trip!! Yesterday we drove with my friend to Helsinki and back, because we had to drop her university-getting-in-architectury-pre-work-thing... (?) :D And we also did some shopping there! Great trip :)

But what's whit the title? Well right now, when I'm not in school or anything, almost the only thing that gets me out of the building every day, is coaching. I am a swimming coach, and my swimmers are from the age 11 to the age 16. Boys and girls. And last saturday we had competition!

Of course I had to make some swimming related nails!! :)

They are our sponsor, so the logo is in our t-shirts and accessories. The base color is bright blue, and the text is white. So simply enough, I transferred them to my nails

The outcome is a bit messy, but the point was just to get it roughly. You still get the point!
I used the blue part Depend and I believe it's 41. The text is almost gone. I'm so sad they don't have names to the polishes! Depend is soooo great bränd! Application is awesome, the colorselection is enoughly good, and they don't cost much! Have to get some more.

The Speedo texts I made using some french manicure set white and a thin brush. I still don't have nail art polishes in black and white!! Damn.

But I received a lot complimets with these nails :) That made me very happy!

Break

Heya!

So today I have read, and am planning to do so again, but needed a little break :) An what would be better break than posting and reading all the posts that have came during the night? Nothing!

I'm bringing something from the near past, some testing with couple of blues I have.

Apparently I don't have the swatch from the polish I started with, but it is Mavala Tropique. Very easy and nice polish that dries super quickly! I think I have 2 coats here, and it is enough. Boring on its own, so I added this half mani with Natural Code Live It Up (which I have to make a comparison with those new ones I had last week, Finger Paints and Savvy) . After that I covered the line with Art Club Midnight Blue.

I think I'm a bit stuck with that design. Did the same with blacks and reds! Not one after another, but they all are in my archive waiting to be post, and I believe it would look stupid if I post them one after the other. Although, why does it matter? They still look completely different. Especially the black one! Loved it!

And back to study!

First Franken - Midnight Sun

Well, having the stomach flu couple of days ago, wasn't fun. And on top of that, it caused that I had to skip one long waited evening with my friends!! Although the feeling was then so awful, that it didn't piss me off at the time, not getting to go there. But since I usually have very few evenings planned during the month, I think a lot those evening I have plans. Well not a lot... But, you know...

So this time I had my outfit for the evening planned beforehand, and I just have to show it here:

(Never mind the wrinkles) And a bit closer the lovely shoes:

Love the bow :) So the clothes were ok, but the problem was that I don't have maching nailpolish! So when I went to watch my niece, I packed along with me some nail stuff, including some blue and red colors.

Ok! I had pretty nice morning there, playing with my niece and watching some How I Met Your Mother (Best show ever!!!) -episodes. During that I did some mixing with the colors I had with me, and was kinda pleased of what came up:

This blueish, purpleish colour with red flakies from the Night Party was what I was thinking when looking the possible colors to use. And I topped it with miss selene 173, which is clear base with mostly purple glitter mixed with silver/hologlitters.

And there are the polishes I used in this. H&M Blue My Mind and Lumene Night Party. I didn't mix these in a bottle, but in a little candle holder which is made of glass. Little batch at a time. That's because I don't have any of those bottles that can be used to that, or even half empty never used polishes that might be good for the operation. But it could be done also like that :)

Here is how it went with the dress

Perfect match! But then what happend? My stomach said its own opinion to the matter, and I didn't get to go and show my matching outfit :/ Well, maybe second try two weeks from now!

And as the title says, I decided to name this franken to Midnight Sun, 'cause of those red flakies (that aren't showing in the pictures..) that flashes from the night sky. Speaking of which, hope the book will come!!

PACKAGE!!

Hey!

Last two days has been awful! Well the day before yesterday wasn't so, but yesterday yes.. On wednesday, my big brother called me to go over, because he and his daughter had a stomach flu, and someone had to watch the daughter. She is 1,5 years old, and I'm her godmother :) Love the girl! Well the day went there, and on evening I was in a hurry and only stopped by at my own house.

So yesterday, I also had to go and watch my niece, 'cuz her faher had to go to work. Morning went by and I was starting to feel something... Yes of course, I had the stomach flu also!!! Should have known when going there the other day that it will catch. So the whole day I just lay on the couch, and tried to feed and change the girl as best as I could... Awful condition! And it ruined my evening plan. More of that coming some other time.

But to the point:
When I finally came home all weak and tired, guess what there was waiting for me?!!?

Tattadadaaaaa!! A package from the other side of the ocean :) My first overseas purchase!

Evil angel has this blogstore, where she sells all the lovely stuff. Last week I contacted her, and bought 9 beautiful polishes.

Four China Glazes, previously I only had one (1!!!) because they cost so much in here. From left to right: Heart of Africa, Solar Power, Innocence and Lavender Lingo. Can't wait to try these!! Especially now in the spring time, the Solar Power almost screams my name from the drawer!

Then my first Color Clubs: Slow Jam and Groove Thang. The picture isn't very colour accurate. Slow Jam is a bit darker IRL. And Groove Thang is this amazing almost black purple which can't be shown from the picture.

And last three, couple of light blues. BB Couture Electric Avenue, Finger Paints Turquoise Tile and Savvy Totally Teal. Also these sparkling turquoises are the ones that will be on my nails soon!!

So thank you so much Evil Angel for the shop and fast shipping and everything!!! :) Hope you will post more beautiful polishes in your shop soon!

Maybe some swatches coming up, maybe not, but I'm very very happy owner of these new polishes (hmmm.... Do I like to own things more than use things..? Yep! Just check my shoe collection! :) )

Moody nails

The fog here has been transformed to rain. Absolutely depressing!! I want to see sun! I want to feel the dry asphalt (that is totally my first sign of spring/summer)! Want to lose some clothes!! And the warm wind! Oh.. Not that biting wind that throws also water on your face. COME ON SUMMER!!!

So here is the base I wore couple of days, and it is kinda summery. Not too bright, but cute what so ever.

Models Own Lime Light

And to the "fun" part: This is seven or eight layers!!! 7 or 8!! And still you can see the nail line. Maybe not in the picture but IRL. Man! If I hadn't had all the time I had when I put this on, I would have freaked out. Luckily all the layers dried very quickly, so the building was fast, but still. Unbeleviable. Is this general to Models Own polishes, or is it just the sheer ones? Despite the layering, I liked the polish a lot. Maybe more from this brand...

But today, when the weather totally brought me down, I fixed my nails to reflect that feeling. Really I don't like the outcome, but it was so suitable to what I see from my window, that I think I'll leave it that way for now. Though tonight I will take it off! Tomorrows nails are already planned :)

But here's the moody nails.

Over the Lime Light I put Golden Rose 107, the one from my previous haul (not posted it yet...). Two layers, and now looking at it here, it sure is soooo depressing. I should take it off. Definately on a sunny day, when the Golden Rose holo can make its magic, this would be different kind of story, but not now. Ok, I'll think I'll stop now!!

p.s. I'm supposed to be reading to my university-getting-in-test... Been making lot of excuses not to :/

What a Foggy weekend.

So here I am again.. The easter weekend has been - as the title says - the foggiest ever!! When you look out of the window, it's almost impossible to see the trees which are like 50 meters away our house. Not to mention the driving!! It should be forbidden, to drive in that kind of weather. Vision is blocked, and to add to that, our car gets very, very, vapory(?) inside. Yesterday I had to drive window open, just to get some air in to clear the windows! Thank god there weren't much traffic.

Anyway... Got some new polishes last week, haven't yet taken picture, but couple of "first" polishes wanted to come with me. I bought my first H&M polishes, Blue My Mind and (of course) Bella's Choice. I've seen so pretty photos of Bella's Choice, so it had to be taken! And it was the only one in the store.

Another "first" thing was Models Own Lime Light... Went there to find Peacock Green, but they didn't have it so I took that one. More about it later!

But back to the Blue My Mind.

And yep, it totally blew my mind!! Sooooo beautiful! Almost a one coater, I added the second just for fun :)

I really couldn't stop looking at this when it was on. Same reason I just had to put all the photos that I took of it. And the drying! In seconds it was touchable (Maybe stretching the truth a bit...), it sure feels like that in my head now!!

Although it was beautiful on its own, the colour was to my eye that shade, that it just needed some black on it. So with konad plate m57 and special polish black (and lots and lots of time...) I stamped these cute flowers on it

I had to do the stamping like piece by piece, because the pattern just didn't came off of the plate when trying to take all the three flowers. Am I doing something wrong there?! It worked when doing them seperately, but not in threes. Maybe more practise!

And what it is in that picture?!?! Yep, Quick Dry Top Coat by Revlon :) I found it from supermarket, and it was on sale with same brand base coat! I was so happy when I found it, and it has already shown its necessity!! I just wish there had been more these, but I'm afraid this was the only one. I mean, it only cost like 4 euros! And it works!

Let's try the Ruffian!!

So after seeing the Ruffian mani all over the blogs, of course I also wanted to try it out. Wild and Crazy brand has some kind of a gold polish, which I thought getting for this one, but for some reason didn't... (?) Instead of that, I purchased Cyber from the same brand, and don't know.. It took four coats, but dried very fast so I didn't have to wait for hours or so (Like some other colors from Wild and Crazy). But yeah, this was kinda nice:

IRL it looks a bit metallic, and that's why I thought it would be nice to try the ruffian on it. After layering first this, and trying to decide either it needed more layers or don't, I got a bit hurry, and the black part didn't go as well as I would have wanted.

It looks better on the picture than in person, and I blame my black for it. It's the only black that I have, and it's Lumene Natural Code, which I generally like. This black just might need some thinnig... Just wondering where to get that here in Finland?!

As soon as I get my hands on CG 2030, I'll take the second round. And for the matteying: Yeah, definately would like to try that, but don't have the stuff! Again, here in Finland, I haven't come across any matte-topcoat. Maybe with the first ordering from over the sea, I'll add that to my cart! (yeah, stil haven't ordered anything... Don't know why :/ )

Couple of Hauls

Hellou! Something totally off topic for starters:

So I'm trying to get to university next fall, and the book that I'm supposed to read and learn from cover to cover, was published today! There is like month and two weeks to study before the test which takes you to the "next level". To some interviews and stuff. I think this is my last chance, because probably I'll put all my effort to this year, and am too pissed if not getting in. Seriously! But I will get there this year. I truly will!

And to the point. On last week, and again this week, I kind of bought only few polishes. Actually, it is only a few! While waiting to start ordering from the internet (yes I know, why to wait? I'm a bit coward for doing things for the first time. I need my time...) I've kept my hands away from polishes like O.P.I., China Glaze, Orly and so on (I think those are the only known brands you can get from my town..) and only searched polishes that costs under 5 euros. There are some surprises when doing so, some good ones and some... not so good ones. Haven't quite figured yet which I've get the most.

Here is the earlier one

From left to right, Wild and Crazy Neon Yellow and Lemon (?), Golden Rose 119 (gorgeous!!) and cute miss selene 173. All of these from Seppälä.

I already tried the green one, and I didn't like it. I mean the colour is awesome, but it didn't apply very well :/ And how I already hyped the brand earlier. Well, I'm not totally down with it yet. I will give them another chance, not just right away.

But that Golden Rose!!! I'll put that to another post, but have to say: WOW! So simple, so cute.

On to the second haul. These ones are like one from here, another from there... well, see for yourself

From left to right, Revlon 097, Plum Seduction (gotta love the name!), Sinful Colors #302 San Francisco, IsaDora 93, Brisk Yellow, Wet'n wild Deep Rouge, Mavala Tropique and some Eveline cosmetics, Party Colours 470... Some of these are just like "hey, that's a cheap one.." but Mavalas were all on sale, and usually I don't like any of them specifically, but resently I have been starting to love those blues!! Can't wait to get Tropique on my nails.

San Francisco... That one I would have loved, only if it had dried in a decent time!! But no. I think I'll have to give her aswell a second chance as soon as I get some drying topcoat. Here is the only thing I could capture of it

And there is also some kind of a cut. But love the colour..

Quite a long post, but hope somebody is interested! Tomorrow I'm going to have some fun, don't know yet what to wear on my nails!

My first reader!!

Yeij!! Yesterday I got my first reader, thaks to Laura :) Today when I noticed it, I felt some kind of a schoolgirl-giggling-bubbling-feeling :D Sounds about right! It gave me hope, maybe I'm not alone with my writings.

But now there has been quite a break on my blogging.. Why? Just because of my laziness :/ And actually, I would really need a new camera. It makes me almost angry everytime I am trying to take some pictures of my manis. It shouldn't be like that! But my hopes are pretty high now that the sun is starting to shine also here in the north! Maybe it will help me.

Hey! Still have some old pics to show! When I get over my negative fiilings towards my camera, I will speed up with my postings. Luckily I started taking photos before staring to blog. Although, didn't have then all the tips and tricks (like I would have them all now?!) when taking the photo. But like on the last post, that actually showed nails, this has the same basecolour:

China Glaze Purple Panic. Soooo gorgeous neon! While starting to paint with this, I totally didn't remember that I had already used it with the previoius mani. No, it doesn't matter, but when there is many new things to be tested, I'd like to test those before taking another round.. Does this sound a bit crazy...? I'm not totally desided that, but on some level maybe.

But here is what I added to CG, just to spice it up a little bit:

Lumene Natural Code (love those little bottles!!) Rock'n Roll. Actually that is the only black that I own.. Not so cool.

Hey, here's a fun fact: The very first nail polish that I wanted and had, was a black polish. And I think it was Mavalas. I think it was my black-season overall. You know, the phase where all you can wear is black. Thank god my mom didn't let me colour my hair then! I was like 10 or 11, and my hair was pretty blond!!

But now I need something to eat!! Bye :)

Old NOTD

Okay. I have a kind of a problem.. I so much would like to write in english, though I already started in finnish, but I´m not so sure if my skills can make it. Although, the fact that I don´t have any readers, finnish nor english (YET!!) ...

Well, I´ll just go with the mood of the day, and add some finnish words in if my skills fail me!

So to the nails. When I ordered my first konad stuff from cesars secret, they sent with it this little konad guidebook. You know, the black one where all the polishes and polishes are shown, and all the other stuff that includes in konading. With instructions too. So on the other side of that books cover, I found so pretty mani, which had orange and black in it with some silver stripes and konad flowers made with silverpolish. I did it with different colours, and here are the results:

So for the base, I used China Glaze Purple Panic, which is bright neon and awesome! Actually that´s my first China Glaze! I spent very much time choosing this, because I really don´t have enough money right now (when have we?). The stripes I made using Art Club Midnight Blue, and outlined with silver polish and toothpick. My black, white and silver art polishes are on their way!!

I would have wanted to add those white flowers on every nail, but didn´t have time to do that. So only the thumb and the ringfinger. And the flower is from the plate m57.

Okay. Now I will go and hunt some giveaways!!

Vielä en ole viitsinyt ruveta laittautumaan, joten ajattelin kaivaa taas jotain vanhaa tänne ihmeteltäväksi. Päivän teemaan sopien, tuon päivän valoon ensimmäisen maistiaiseni Absolutely Alicesta, kun sitä piti heti oston jälkeen testata.

Lähtökohta oli tällainen:

Seppälästä kun saa näitä suunnattoman suloisia pari euroa maksavia miss selene 5 ml lakkoja, niin niitä käytin tässä. Pohjalla muutama kerros vaalean lilaa sävyä 149 (nimiä lakoilla ei taida olla, vain nuo numerot). Päälle vinolakkaus sävyllä 150. Kyseessä oli siis lähinnä testailu, että miltä nämä näyttävät kynsissä, ja aika suloisethan niistä tuli. Päälle päätin sitten lisätä Art Clubin tummansinisellä rajaviivan, ja oikeastaan tuota haalean-vaaleaa täpläkuviota olen miettinyt jo aiemmin.

Maalarinteippiä apuna käyttäen, painoin laatasta m57 leopardikuvion, kuin se olisi painettu jo ennen sinisiä. Ensimmäistä kertaa kokeilin konadoida jollain muulla kuin erikoislakalla, ja testaukseen pääsi, niinkuin olin jo aiemmin haaveillut lakan haalean helmiäisyyden takia, joku ikivanha La Femme, väri 29(?). Hyvin ainakin tuolla tuntui onnistuvan, voi tosin olla että kyseessä on sellainen väri joka antaa anteeksi pienet virheet.

Mutta siis Absolutely Alice. Tältä kynnet siis näyttivät silloin kun Alicen kävin ostamassa, joten kynsien sininen osa lähes huusi itselleen glitteriä!! Ja täytyyhän kynsien toiveita kuunnella:

Joku näissä ei kuitenkaan niin hirveästi säväytä. Eikä Alicekaan missään nimessä pääse oikeuksiinsa pelkille kärjille lakattuna. Well, nytpä pääsen kuitenkin laittautumaan!

ALICE IN WONDERLAND!!!

Tänään on se päivä! Jota on odotettu! Ja kauan! Tänään suuntaamme avokin ja parhaan kaverin kanssa elokuvateatteriin jossa esitetään tämä loistava Tim Burtonin spektaakkeli, Alice in Wonderland!! En jaksaisi oikein odottaa iltaan.. Mutta on se odotettava. Sitä ennen kuitenkin kaupungille hamstraamaan lakkoja.

O.P.I.n Absolutely Alicet on tietysti kynsissä, ja kuten aiemmin kirjoitin, on Mad As A Hatterin metsästys ollut käynnissä. Hyviä uutisia tuli sunnuntaina, että kaverin kaveri on sen parinsadan kilometrin päästä saanut käsiinsä ja postittaa tällä viikolla tähän suuntaan :) Oikein mukavaa! Kuitenkaan tälle päivälle ei Hatuntekijä kerinnyt. Edit. Kometo takas! Mad As A Hatter tuli tänään postista ja kerkeää elokuviin mukaan!!!! Kuvia myöhemmin!

Uskomattoman ihana lakka! Levittyi kuin unelma, ei jättänyt koloja ja kuinka se loistaakaan! En saa katsettani irti näistä, toivottavasti ei mene elokuva ohi.. hehe..

Pientä lisäystä kuitenkin halusin, joten herttakunigattaren kunniaksi täytyy Wonderland-kynsissä olla myös punaista:

Sähäkkä yhdistelmä! Joku oli käyttänyt samaa systeemiä, väreinä vain musta, valkoinen ja vihreä, tuon Absolutely Alicen päällä, en vain muista kuka se oli. Sori!

Kevään hehkutus ei kauaa kestänyt. Tässä vaiheessa tuntuu vielä pahemmalta tuo -10 astetta, kun ollaan jo käyty nollan toisella puolella. Ei kestä tällaista hyppelyä tämä kesä-ihminen!! Lumet nyt veks ja aurinko paistamaan tai muutan jonnekin lämpöisempään. Mutta ei! En anna itseni vaipua epätoivoon, vaan laitan kynteni paistamaan! Ostan tänään jonkun niin räikeän ja pirteän kevätlakan, että auringon on pakko tulla kurkistamaan, että mikä siellä loistaa!! Mutta viikonlopun kynnet tulevat olemaan hieman tummemmat, koska urheiluseuran väriä pitää tietenkin tunnustaa :)

Tarrojen hienous

Unbeleviable! Olen malttanut pitää viime torstaista/perjantaista asti samat luomukset kynsissä. More Unbeleviable, puolentoista tunnin kloorivedessä lillumisen jälkeen ne ei menneet miksikään!
Eli en päässyt edes toteuttamaan suunnitelemaani korjausta, josta eilen mainitsin. Täytyy tehdä se siis ihan vain huvikseen :)

Lähtökohta oli siis tämä:Kaksi kerrosta Wild and Crazy Anchoragesia.

Sen päälle kaksi kerrosta Golden Rose sävyä 103, ja tämä oli mielestäni todella nätti. Taidan käydä hakemassa Seppälästä loputkin Golden Rosen hololakat :) Ainaskin punertava ja tummemman harmaa olisi haaveissa!

Kuitenkaan luonto ei antanut periksi, että olisin nämä tällaisiksi jättänyt. Kiirehän siinä loppujen lopuksi tuli, joten en ainakaan mitään konad juttuja olisi kerennyt tekemään. Valitsin siis Seppälästä ostetun kynsitarra-arkin, ja valinta osui todella nappiin:

Erittäin helposti lähtivät alustastaan irti, pinsettejä apuna käyttäen. Pienellä asettelulla löysivät oman paikkansa kynsien alareunasta, eikä tarran rajoja näy ollenkaan. Aiemmin en ole tarroja kokeillut, mutta tämä kyllä vakuutti. Päälle kaksi kerrosta päällyslakkaa, ja that´s it. Kovin kovin olen tyytyväinen, niinkuin olen jo muutaman kerran sanonut!

Ja vielä viimeisin kuva, puolentoista tunnin kloorivedessä uittamisen jälkeen näyttävät kynnet tältä:

Tarrat ei repsota, lakat ei "kuoriutuneet" pois, päät ei lohkeillut. Liputan nyt siis isolla lipulla Seppälän puolesta! Wild and Crazyissa on nimittäin iso valikoima värejä, eikä hintakaan päätä pakota: 2,95 e! Jeij!

Ja teatteriesitys oli oikein viihdyttävä!

Edit. pakko lisätä vielä viimeinenkin vaihe kynsistä:

Kovasti olisi himoittanut rajata vielä hopeisella lakalla tuo mustan ja harmaan raja, mutta hopeinen koristelulakka ei ole vielä tullut. Ja ehkä siitä olisi tullut hieman tökerön näköinen..
Ja kyseessähän on Dependin upea sävy 104, joka on tummanharmaa/musta hopealla glitterillä (?).

Ensimmäinen konadointi

Tilasin helmikuun puolella ensimmäiset Konad-tarvikkeeni, ja innolla rupesin niitä testailemaan. Tilauksesta sen verran, että Cesars Shopista maanantaina tilasin, ja tuotteet tuli postiluukkuun seuraavana tiistaina! Sivuilla lukee, että toimitusaika 24h, mutta jotenkin ajattelin että 24h jostain käsittelystä, joka tapahtuu hamassa tulevaisuudessa. Mutta erittäin tyytyväinen olin!

Tilasin konad juttuja mustan ja valkoisen erikoislakan, stamper-setin ja 2 kuvalaattaa (m3 ja m57). Lisäksi meinasin överi-innostua art clubin ohutpensselisistä koristelulakoista, mutta sain hillittyä itseni ja tilasin punaisen, sinisen ja pinkin. Musta ja valkoinen vastaavat tulevat toivottavasti seuraavassa Oriflamen tilauksessa.

No samantien välineet esille, ja pitkään oli seuraava kuva mielessä kummitellut:

Pinkille pohjalle seepraraitoja mustalla erikoislakalla ja m57 laatalla. Ja pohjalla siis Dependin sävy nro 34.

Ensimmäiseksi kerraksi onnistui mielestäni melko hyvin, yhtäkään kynttä ei nimittäin tarvinnut tehdä uusiksi. Yhden päivän pidin pelkkänä musta-pinkkinä, mutta seuraavana iltana täytyi testailla vähän lisää, joten lisäsin nuo valkoiset kukat vain päälle erikoilakalla ja myöskin laatalla m57. Ne menikin sitten hieman sotkuisiksi, mutta ei se ole niin justiinsa!

Toissapäivän postauksen harmaalle testaukselle sain nätin lisän kynsitarroilla, mutta siitä lisäää huomenna. Kyseinen mani on siis edelleen kynsissä, eli tykkään kovasti! Tänään saattavat vain hieman kärsiä kun lähden niitä altaaseen reiluksi tunniksi lilluttamaan.. Mutta korjaamiseenkin on jo idea :)

Early Flowers

Miten tää kevät voi ollakkaan näin tunteita heittelevää, noinniinkun ton ilman suhteen? Se että päivällä voi hehkuttaa kuinka on ihanan lämmintä ja aurinko paistaa, muuttuu kuuden jälkeen siihen että ne kaikki sulaneet lumet muuttuu jäisiks kouruiks pitkin teitä, ja esim. pyörällä ajo on käytännössä lähes mahdotonta! Mutta tykkään kuitenkin enemmän kuin talvesta ja syksystä.

Blogin ajantasalle saamisessa ei todennäköisesti hirveän kauan mene, mutta jonkun verran on kertynyt alkuvuodesta noita erilaisia maneja. Hieno hetki oli kun löysin YouTubesta "kuinka tehdä kukkia" -videon , ja niitähän sitten käytin kun en muutakaan osannut.

Näistä tykkäsin erityisesti, jotenkin ihanasti käy nuo värit yhteen. Pohjalla jotain ikivanhaa La Femme Beautya (bongasin tosin että Sepppälät myy näitä edelleen), kukat ja tipit Natural Coden Rock 'n Roll. En tykkää käyttää tarroja apuna kun teen ranskalaisia. Vapaalla kädellä onnistuu yleensä paremmin, ja tarroista jää useesti jälet (ehkä mulla on vaan huonoja tarroja..)

Valkoisia kukkia :) Ne on niin simppelit mutta silti niin nätit. Pohjalla myöskin ikivanha, mutta todella silmää miellyttävä sävy (kuvassa aivan väärän väinen) Drops Of Color, Violet. Kukat ja tipit Seppälästä ostetun ranskalainen manikyyri -setin Elegant Touch French Manicure valkoinen. Ja taitaa olla ristiin nuo kukkien keskellä olevat pienet pisteet, eli edellisen musta tässä ja tämän valkoinen edellisessä.

Eilen piti käydä vähän ostostelemassa! Päätös pitää, että pysyn nyt hetken aikaa alle vitosen lakoissa (Kyllä, se on mahdollista kun käyttää Seppälää), budjetti kun ei salli kalliimpia hankintoja :/ Tosin Kicksissä China Glazen lakat parin euron alennuksessa, eli 7,90.. Se Ruby Pumps siellä vähän houkutteli..

No mutta siis ostostelin! Harmaa rupesi kiehtomaan pari kuukautta sitten, mutta nyt vasta sain aikaseksi. Myöskin kun blogeja on lukenut, on nuo holo-lakat ruvennut kiinnostamaan. Ne melkein pyyhin mielestäni, ettei niitä ihan joka kaupassa ole, mikä varmaan tottakin, mutta kuten Doo polishingkin bongasi, on Seppälään tullut mini-holoja, Golden Rose merkkisiä! Yksi sellainen vaaleanharmaa lähti mukaan Wild and Crazyn Anchoragesin ja Cyberin lisäksi.

Nyt vasta ostin ekat W'n C:t vaikka jo pari kuukautta olen niitä jo hypistellyt. Ja ekan testauksen jälkeen olen ihan tyytyväinen. Omaan makuun saisi kuivua vähän nopsemmin, mutta eiköhän pikakuivattaja hoida sen asian, kunhan sellaisen saan aikaseksi ostettua.

Harmaa pääsi siis testaukseen, koska tänä iltana avokin kanssa ollaan menossa teatteriin ja syömään. Päälle ajattelin laittaa muutakin harmaata, joten hyvään saumaan osui tämä testaus.

Jotain mielelläni laittaisin tuohon lisäksi, harvoin pidän pelkää värillistä lakkaa.

KEVÄT!!!

Tänään alkoi niin varmasti kevät! +5 astetta lämmintä, aurinkokin ihan lämmitti ja pääsin sivelemään kevään ensimmäistä kuivaa asfalttia! Se on ehdottomasti paras kevään merkki, että saa koskettaa kuivaa asfalttia. Ei ne leskenlehdet ole niin justiinsa, mutta se kuiva asfaltti :)

Kävin myöskin pyörähtämässä äitin luona, piti vähän hehkuttaa Alice In Wonderlandia.. <3

Ja sitten viikonlopun kynsiin. Keväisellä mielellä keväiset sävyt:

Pohjalla kolme kerrosta Lumenen Natural Code 12, Go crazy, päälle muutama kerros sienellä tuputeltuna Lumenen Natural Code 9, Live it up. Nimettömässä toimenpide toisinpäin, ja päälle konadin mustalla lakalla m57 kuvio. Tuo mieleen vähän jotain kala meininkinä..

O.P.I.n Alice In Wonderland lakkojen takia olen melkein menettänyt yöuniani! Luulin ettei niitä saisi Suomesta ollenkaan, ja olen aika rookie tuossa rapakon takaa tilaamisessa. Ilo oli siis ylimmillään kun bongasin mad manicurist tapahtuman Sokkareilta, joissa esitellään ko. lakat. Ikävä kyllä Jyväskylän tapahtuma meni jo, joten harkitsin jo road trippiä seuraavaan kaupunkiin. Onneksi kuitenkin Jyväskylän Sokoksella oli Absolutely Alice, joka siirtyi omistukseeni melko nopeasti, mutta Mad As A Hatteria ei enää/ollenkaan ollut :/ Metsästys jatkuu kuitenkin. Tässä kuitenkin ihana Alice:

Testasin sitä jo vanhan lakkauksen päälle, joten enköhän sen pian tännekin lataa.
Kynsissä tällä hetkellä tuollainen puolet ja puolet lakkaus, josta myöhemmin kuvia.

Vanhoja juhlalakkauksia

Hienostihan tuo ensimmäinen onnistui :) Olin aivan varma, että sössin jotenkin koko homman ja mitään ei vaan kertakaikkiaan tapahdu!

Tosiaan viime vuoden lopulla ja tämän vuoden alussa sain ison kipinän kynsien lakkailuun. Juniorista asti on tietenkin lakkoja tullut pyöriteltyä, mutta nyt vasta kun päivät vapautui täysin kaikesta tekemisestä, on aikaa mennyt melkolailla kynsiblogeja seuraillen ja youtubesta videoita katsellen! Nyt operaationa tuon lakkakokoelman kerryttäminen ja mahdollisesti pikkuhiljaa geelaukseen tutustuminen..

Vuosi 2010 otettiin vastaan tällaisilla kynsillä:

Alla Yves Rocherin minilakka Bleu Nuit (aivan syntisen ihana tumma sininen), vinoon Visions V Silver Dream (Oriflamelta tilattu) ja kaikissa kynsissä tähti-bling-bling, Kicksistä saatavasta kynsitimanttipaletista.

Omistan paljon kaikenlaisia "nimettömiä" lakkoja, jotka on pyörinyt jaloissa varmaan ala-asteelta lähtien. Suurin osa näistä on punaisia (en tiedä miksi) joten niistä syntyi hulvaton ystävänpäivämani:

Kädet ovat samanlaiset-erilaiset, ja punasävyisiä lakkoja löytyi tosiaan 8. Siihen lisänä vielä kulta- ja hopealakat, niin johan oli!
